[He's been a doctor long enough that he can spot Dante trying to conceal their pain. There's no telling how long the sliding will take, so. Perhaps. It's time for a new strategy.
Yujin steps back and returns to his desk, looking around... at last, he comes upon a simple file folder made of cardstock. He looks at the folder-- then at Dante-- then at the folder.]
I've got an idea.
[Now that there's a bit of leverage underneath the magnet, he starts wedging the folder under that, separating it from poor Dante's head. If this works, it'll be enough to get the thing off them; if it doesn't, congrats, they have a folder stuck to their head too now like it's being hung up on the fridge.]
[it's definitely reducing the impact, but it's not fully off. still, the right idea is there if Yujin can keep pushing forward. and Dante, taking a deep breath, manages to speak.]
< Use a clipboard or something...I won't scratch. >
[something that can allow true and proper leverage.]
[Clipboard it is. He slides the folder out from under the magnet, but not before wedging the clipboard into the thin space its absence creates. Carefully, he wiggles the board between Dante's head and the magnet...
and, with a noisy clatter, the magnet falls to the ground, freeing poor Dante at last!!]
Got it! [Before turning to Dante again, Yujin seizes the magnet off the floor and places it on the nearby desk. Like, really far from the edge, on the desk. He is not going to do this twice.]
[they're free, and they slump forward, ticking quietly - the very picture of someone catching their breath. carefully, they reach a hand up to loosen their tie - not to unbutton the shirt, but just to give a little more space.]
< Like one of the worst headaches I've ever had finally stopped. Thank you. >
[they're kind of exhausted after it, but asking to nap in here feels kind of weird and indulgent, when they have their own room not too far off. but being able to be exhausted after pain is still novel. it's passed, and they can feel shitty, and no one is going to make them move immediately.]
< ...Now on any medical forms I fill out, I can note an allergy to strong magnets. >
this baby yujin icon is his #mood pretend he has a stache

[stupid joke? yes. but it helps them process.]

[What a relief. It isn't going on his list of specialties, but at least he knows how to handle this if it ever-- hopefully never-- happens again.
Lucky for Dante, Yujin's dad enough to be partial to a dumb joke or two.]
I'll add it to your file. [He shakes his head, smiling.] And do take care in the tech lab in the future.
[Maybe the crew should start putting the really crazy magnets away somewhere more secure...]

[the medical care they're used to involves a lot of suck it up and keep moving before a mission like the one that's looming.]

How... would you take a painkiller, Dante-san?
[DO THEY HAVE A MOUTH?]
