Hm. For students of mine, I'd suggest a shared trip (though, I suppose we are always doing that, aren't we?) or some type of fun group activity, to get to know each other. [Considering some among their number don't want to bond willingly, any kind of obvious talking exercise is definitely out of the question.] Perhaps some games?
