I would argue that. It is predictable in two things — their lust for chaos and for cruelty. Some of the orbs, individually, have been less malevolent than others. The one in Kilnan was more petulant, like a selfish child. The one in Badrock was perhaps the worst we have faced so far.
But they are all parts of a larger whole, and that cannot be discounted.
I do not doubt you, but I haven't sensed any sort of will or motivation from the three orbs that were gathered during my time here. Perhaps we were fortunate with those.
I don't believe it has anything to do with observational skills, sensei. You are correct in saying that the last three we have returned to the Ximilia have not been as overtly terrible as some of those encountered in my time here.
However, our luck cannot hold forever. It is possible that the next world we visit, or the next, will represent a return to form. Be on your guard.
